Bronx rapper Dthang arrested on gun charges in Miami

Bronx rapper Dthang, who is signed to French Montana, has reportedly been arrested on drug charges in Miami.

The 23-year-old appears to be charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, shooting or throwing a deadly missile, discharging a firearm in a recreational area, and criminal mischief.

Court records were obtained by DJ Akademiks and posted on Instagram on January 15th. A couple of the charges have bonds still waiting to be set, but two of them are set at $500.

Dthang was previously arrested on gun and drug charges in September during a traffic stop. He was charged with cocaine possession, cannabis possession, and firearm possession as a convicted felon.

He was released from prison in January 2024 following his arrest in 2022 as part of an indictment against Bronx gang River Park Towers.

The rapper was sentenced to three to five years behind bars, but was released in 2024. In total, 34 alleged gang members were charged with conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder, attempted assault, animal cruelty and criminal possession of a weapon, among others.

Montana signed Dthang to his label, Coke Boy Records, in January 2024. He has over half a million Instagram followers and 400,000 monthly Spotify listeners.

He’s best known for his song ‘Talk Facts’, which has over 53 million views on YouTube. Other big songs include ‘Gzz Box’ and ‘Bunny Hop’, which have 27 million streams and 17 million streams on Spotify.

Dthang’s “On the Radar Radio” freestyle also boasts 22 million streams on YouTube. His only album, A Bronx Tale, was released back in October 2024, with his latest single, ‘Envyy’, dropping in August 2025.
