Blueface shares new prison photos from Los Angeles County Jail
Blueface has shared new prison photos while serving time behind bars. The Los Angeles rapper took to social media over the weekend with a glimpse of life in Los Angeles County Jail.
The ‘Thotiana’ artist is currently serving a four-year sentence after probation was revoked in a 2021 assault case, entering custody in January 2024.
In an Instagram post on August 17th, Blueface is seen wearing a white vest, grey tracksuit bottoms, a white cap and white trainers. In the caption of his post, he told his 2.4million followers, “This is not a 50/50 yard.” One of the pictures includes two other inmates.
Taking to the comments, his mother, Karlissa Harvey, said, “It’s count down for the celebration of my babies return. Come get these tickets Blueface Home Coming Celebrity Bash.”
The photos also show another look at his face tattoos, which were first revealed in February. After the images surfaced, Harvey slammed her son in text messages posted online.
“Your kids are suffering,” she wrote. “Javaughn’s confidence has fallen and you play arts and crafts on your face is diabolical. Your half a father wasn’t as sad as you are right now. You better start praying and pull yourself together! You are more than a lame ass jail ninja. You a child of God and father of three.
“You about to piss me all the fuckin way off because you wasn’t supposed to turn out like the rest of them fatherless weak ass cry baby ass losers. You have to feed these kids until they graduate college!!! Get yo shit together lil boy!!!”
Speaking on prison life in August, Blueface told Effective Immediately, “I be jacking off, watching TV, eating Doritos and using the phone. That’s pretty much it. They only got like 12 channels. I’ve been watching a lot of the news, the Sherri show and The Jennifer Hudson Show.”
He added, “I’m chilling, man. I’m in my environment. It’s like a little break from responsibility. I’m like 180 [pounds] right now; I’ve never been 180 before. I’m getting sized up, I’m about to bounce out looking like a dalmation.”
