My interests include discovering underground artists, focusing on their personal, political and lyrical meanings, genre-pushing and stylistic choices which make them unique, refreshing and empathetic. With a keen interest in storytelling and discovering the roots of their work both stylistically and lyrically, the concepts of identity and heritage drive my music journalism work.
