Anita Max Wynn girl appears on Drake and Adin Ross livestream with shots
Earlier this year, Drake went on an Australia and New Zealand ‘Anita Max Win’ tour, which was meant to see him perform in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Auckland. However, Drizzy cancelled the last leg of his tour.
Promotion material for the tour included a red-haired cartoon girl wearing a pink top, round glasses, and a diamond chain. She was also holding a cartoon gun. That said, a similar-looking figure recently appeared in a livestream featuring Drake and Adin Ross.
Although the cartoon seemed to depict a young girl halfway through Drizzy’s stream, a red-haired, glasses-wearing woman in a pink top appeared onscreen to give the emcee and Adin Ross some shots. She reappeared regularly throughout the live stream.
The ‘Anita Max Win Tour’ was named after the Anita Max Wynn character that Drake unveiled last year. During a stream, while showing merchandise featuring the character, he once described her as his “alter ego.” He also has an Anita Max Wynn chain.
Many have been trying to decode the name, but it apparently derives from the phrase “I need a max win”, which highlights Drake’s new love for gambling and placing bets. Recently, he has pivoted into the streaming space, where he regularly does giveaways and lotteries alongside Adin Ross, who is one of the most popular streamers in the world.
In this most recent stream, Drake and Adin Ross, Drizzy called in Anita when the pair put on “max” bets, with Drake telling the female, “We’ll let you know if we need you for a Max Wynn!”
The gold, diamond-encrusted chain did not appear during the livestream, but fans were anticipating it. Drake has attempted to rebrand himself by regularly appearing on streams, as internet personalities such as Kai Cenat, IShowSpeed, and Adin Ross currently have a hold on the younger generation that many MCs don’t.
Although Drake’s still releasing music, one can assume he is definitely selling it to a different market, as he has made it his mission to have platform dominance. The emcee already has a very public brand deal with the cryptocurrency-betting brand Stake. Furthermore, his Anita Max Win Tour appeared to be an ode to gambling, with dice and roulette wheels making up much of the aesthetic.
During the Adin Ross stream on April 13th, Drizzy announced that he is currently working on a new project but didn’t reveal the album title or release date, but insisted that it “slaps”.
