Anderson .Paak plays drums for BTS during ‘Proof’ live stream

Anderson .Paak is the most in-demand guest drummer on the planet, and following his SuperBowl cameo, he’s now linked up with K-pop giants, BTS.

The boyband released their latest album, Proof, on June 10th, and the link-up with .Paak is part of their promotion. Although he didn’t play on the studio version, Anderson’s flair adds an extra layer to the BTS sound, and he proves there’s nothing which his presence won’t improve.

The Silk Sonic man joined the group to perform, ‘Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment In Life)’, which is the lead single from Proof. Following their performance, Anderson also spoke with the band, and praised the effort.

“I love it, it reminds me of church, it’s great. It’s fantastic,” he said. Meanwhile, the drummer also revealed it was his son, Soul Rasheed, who first introduced him to BTS. “He’s a big fan, so he made me a fan, and ever since I’ve been obsessed. I’ve been ARMY ever since.”

It was also recently revealed .Paak is working on a K-pop movie. “My mom is from Korea but she was adopted so I never knew anything about my Korean heritage until I met my wife,” he recently explained while talking about the project. “This movie is a reflection on my experience learning about this part of myself alongside my wife and son – and spending even more time with them.”
