Hear Megan Thee Stallion's remix of BTS song 'Butter'

Megan Thee Stallion has dropped her remix of BTS’ international superhit ‘Butter’.

The K-pop group released the track earlier this year, and it topped the Billboard 100. Since then, an array of remixes have surfaced with Megan, the latest artist to take on the behemoth, which is ‘Butter’. However, she’s had to fight tooth and nail with her label to release the track.

She handed in a petition to a Texas court earlier this week seeking emergency intervention from the state to allow her to release the song for her fans this week. Megan’s case claimed the label said: “Her music career will suffer irreparable damage, including a devastating impact to her relationships with her fans and with other recording artists in the music industry”.

Furthermore, they said the track would not be “good for her career as a recording artist”. The rapper is signed to 1501 and has been trying to engineer her departure from the independent label.

Megan provides a fiery new verse to ‘Butter’ on the track, which sees her rap, “Now I need global entry to the shows I’m rocking.” Later on, she unleashes the bars, “Smooth like cocoa butter / My drip more than a puddle / They know I’m the wave / Take over every summer.”
