6ix9ine begins prison sentence after turning himself in

6ix9ine has turned himself in to authorities to begin his three-month sentence for violating his probation.

The Brooklyn rapper surrendered on January 6th while on a live stream with Adin Ross. Taking to Instagram for his final post before serving his sentence, he wrote, “Thank you guys so much see you in 3 months.”

6ix9ine will serve time at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, relating to probation violations over his plea deal in the federal racketeering and firearms case.

The 29-year-old was on a live stream for almost two hours, which showed content creator Stephen Deleonardis cutting off his ankle monitor.

He was surrounded by friends and sang Justin Bieber’s ‘Baby’ and Lil Tjay’s ‘Hold On’ in a limo on the way to prison.

Speaking to the camera after 6ix9ine walked into the prison, Ross said, “That’s actually so fucking sad, I don’t give a fuck. That’s horrible, bro.”

Just last week, 6ix9ine declared he didn’t have suicidal thoughts while on the topic of Jeffrey Epstein, who was found dead in prison in 2019.

“I am not suicidal. I do not want to kill myself,” he said. “I’m literally going in there for 90 days. I didn’t hang myself. Clip this. I did not hang myself. Nothing. I’m not suicidal. I’m nothing. And I’m going to be very cautious.”

Ross said he would drop him off at prison and stuck to his word. “I’m going to get you a really fucking nice gift when you get out,” he said. “When you’re free. Oh my god. I’m going to get you a nice gift.”

6ix9ine’s probation violations included cocaine and ecstasy being found in his home and punching a man at a shopping centre.
