6ix9ine insists he’s “not suicidal” ahead of impending prison sentence
6ix9ine has claimed he’s “not suicidal” before serving his latest prison sentence this month.
In December, the rapper was sentenced to three months behind bars for violating his probation terms. He’ll head to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn on January 6th, 2026.
During a recent live stream with Adin Ross, 6ix9ine stated he didn’t have any suicidal thoughts while on the topic of Jeffrey Epstein, who died in prison in 2019.
“I am not suicidal. I do not want to kill myself,” he declared. “I’m literally going in there for 90 days. I didn’t hang myself. Clip this. I did not hang myself. Nothing. I’m not suicidal. I’m nothing. And I’m going to be very cautious.”
Ross said he would drop him off at prison, before adding, “I’m going to get you a really fucking nice gift when you get out. When you’re free. Oh my god. I’m going to get you a nice gift.”
While on supervised release from his 2018 racketeering case, police discovered cocaine and ecstasy in 6ix9ine’s home in March. Months later, he also punched a man at a shopping mall.
During his sentencing, the judge told him, “From time to time, your actions suggest that you believe that ordinary rules don’t apply to you.”
Upon the end of his sentence, he’s facing 12 months of supervised release and must attend a mental health treatment programme for anger management, as well as an outpatient drug treatment program.
Speaking after being sentenced, 6ix9ine thought the sentence was fair and that the judge was able to hear all of the facts. He believed that he would be held in a secure unit due to his “snitch” status.
