Judge reveals 6ix9ine’s strict post-prison conditions
6ix9ine was sentenced to three months in prison last week. However, he’s also been hit with some strict post-prison conditions.
Due to violating the terms of his probation, the Brooklyn rapper was ordered to report to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn on January 6th, 2026.
The decision was made on December 5th, with the judge telling him, “From time to time your actions suggest that you believe that ordinary rules don’t apply to you.”
According to TMZ, he was also ordered to 12 months of supervised release, in addition to his prison sentence.
As part of the supervised release, 6ix9ine must attend a mental health treatment programme focused on anger management. He’s also required to attend an outpatient drug treatment program.
6ix9ine was on supervised release from his 2018 racketeering case when he violated his probation. Police found cocaine and ecstasy in his house in March; months later, he punched a man at a shopping centre.
Speaking after being sentenced, 6ix9ine said the sentence was fair and that he believed he would be held in a secure unit due to his “snitch” status.
His lawyer, Lance Lazzaro, claimed that his incarceration would “end up being much more severe, difficult, and even dangerous, when compared to a typical inmate.”
He added, “Due to Mr Hernandez’ classification, he always serves his jail time segregated and fully isolated from other inmates. As a result, Mr Hernandez is given extremely limited social interaction with other inmates and very little time outside to get fresh air and exercise.”
6ix9ine has been on probation since he was released from prison in 2020 after testifying against the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.
