6ix9ine’s home raided by police as guns and drugs are seized

Federal officers and local police raided the home of 6ix9ine in Florida on March 12th. The rapper claimed guns and drugs were seized as they searched his property but says he’s done nothing wrong.

The controversial Brooklyn figure revealed his house was rushed that morning, alleging he was kept in handcuffs for six hours between 9am and 3pm. He also claims the police took DNA samples from him and wrecked his home while searching for something.

TMZ reports that 6ix9ine told them the feds wanted to see if his DNA was found on the items. However, he claims he’s been under the radar while on house arrest.

According to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, federal US Probation officers executed a search warrant with help from Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators.

The Sheriff’s office stated that items were confiscated from 6ix9ine’s home during a “probation” check and taken for further analysis. They say the items found couldn’t immediately be connected to the rapper, so additional testing is needed.

While 6ix9ine claimed guns and drugs were recovered during the raid, the Sheriff’s office didn’t confirm any of the items. Tekashi was allegedly only handcuffed during the raid for the safety of officers and wasn’t arrested due to there being no probable cause.

6ix9ine’s jewellery was recently auctioned after being seized by the IRS last year. Cars and other personal items were taken from his home in Lake Worth, Florida, in April 2024 following local police raiding his property.

In January 2024, Dominican Republic authorities arrested 6ix9ine on domestic violence charges after he was accused of assaulting a local music producer, having recorded at his studio with Yailín la Más Viral, his partner at the time.
