6ix9ine claims snitch planted gun and drugs in his home
6ix9ine has alleged that a former friend planted a gun and drugs following his Florida home being raided in March. The rainbow-haired rapper has been charged with violating the terms of his parole after officers found various prohibited items inside his house.
An assistant United States Attorney says a source led them to find MMDA, a bag with cocaine residue and a Glock handgun stashed inside his pool house.
Tekashi appeared in court on April 21st and pleaded not guilty, claiming the informant could be a former associate who planted the drugs and gun. His lawyer, Lance Lazzaro, says they can resolve the situation favourably.
According to TMZ, the judge banned 6ix9ine from having guns and ammunition at his home and will find out if he’ll be convicted on May 22nd.
When his home was raided, the Brooklyn rapper claimed he was kept in handcuffs for six hours between 9am and 3pm and that police took DNA samples from him. He also alleged that they wrecked his property.
The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office reported that federal US Probation officers executed a search warrant with help from Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators.
The Sheriff’s office stated that items were confiscated from 6ix9ine’s home during a “probation” check and taken for further analysis. He was allegedly only handcuffed during the raid for the safety of officers and wasn’t arrested due to there being no probable cause.
6ix9ine was previously arrested for violating the terms of his plea agreement in his racketeering case in October 2024. He was accused of travelling to Las Vegas without permission, avoiding drug tests and testing positive for meth.
Lazzaro told the court he went to Vegas to perform and believed he had notified the proper authorities.
