50 Cent unveils plans for new documentary on United Healthcare CEO shooter
50 Cent is more than just a rapper, and when he isn’t trolling other hip-hop artists online, he is thinking of a new business venture. Now, he’s turned his sights to the recent killing of United Healthcare’s CEO, Brian Thompson. Fifty took to social media to unveil his plans to make a documentary about the shooter, Luigi Mangione.
Over the past year, the Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ creator has primarily been focused on the lawsuits surrounding Combs, which he has agreed to make a series about for Netflix. However, he is now sure that the life of Luigi Mangione could make for a compelling and potentially profitable documentary.
Taking to Instagram on December 10th, the ‘Smile’ rhymer admitted that there is something about Luigi Mangione that he finds interesting. As such, Fifty wrote, “I don’t know, I kinda like this killer.” The rapper included a quotation from Mangione.
The 26-year-old has been charged with murder. It is a story that has gripped the world, which is why 50 Cent has gravitated to the story of a well-educated data scientist to an alleged killer.
Unveiling this, Fifty took to Instagram, writing, “I’m sorry this is going this way, but I’m doing a documentary on him. He is special! I apologize in advance for anyone who doesn’t understand.” Fifty’s announcement arrives on the heels of Mangione’s alleged manifesto being released to the public, a manifesto that made his frustration with the US Healthcare system obvious.
On a piece of paper, Mangione allegedly wrote, “Frankly, these parasites simply had it coming. A reminder: the US has the #1 most expensive healthcare system in the world, yet we rank roughly #42 in life expectancy.” 50 Cent has an incredible track record for producing TV shows, and the success of Power is proof.
However, although he has let fans know he plans on creating a documentary about Luigi Mangione, he hasn’t forgotten about the Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs case and was one of the first people to troll Jay-Z after his name entered a Tony Buzbee lawsuit.
50 Cent recently responded to Jay-Z’s appearance in a lawsuit on Instagram, writing, “Ok, I don’t know what’s going on, but are we gonna still have the Super Bowl? 😟 I’m just asking for a friend!”
In an even more shocking post, 50 Cent mocked Jay-Z’s decision to attend a red carpet event with his family, writing, “Jay said they said I rapped [sic] a kid, everybody get dressed we going to see Mufasa LOL.”
