50 Cent mocks Jay-Z attending premiere of ‘Mufasa’ following rape allegation

50 Cent has called out Jay-Z for attending the premiere of Mufasa: The Lion King despite being accused of rape in a new lawsuit. Over the weekend, a woman alleged that he and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs raped her as a 13-year-old girl in 2000, claiming Jay removed her clothes, held her down and raped her, which he immediately denied.

Just one day after the refiled lawsuit surfaced, Jay was spotted on the red carpet of his wife Beyoncé and daughter Blue Ivy’s upcoming film. The Roc Nation rapper was seen smiling and posing for photos alongside his family.

No stranger to mocking Jay-Z, 50 laughed at Jay taking the whole thing in his stride by showing up to the red carpet like nothing had happened in the last 24 hours. “Jay said they said I [raped] a kid, everybody get dressed we going to see Mufasa LOL,” he wrote on Instagram in a since-deleted post.

After news about the lawsuit came about on November 8th, 50 Cent reacted to the story with confusion and wondered whether Super Bowl LIX would still be going ahead, given Jay’s producer role in the halftime show. “Ok, I don’t know what’s going on, but are we gonna still have the Super Bowl? I’m just asking for a friend!” he wrote.

Ever since the many sexual assault allegations against Combs surfaced, 50 Cent has been bringing up Jay-Z’s silence surrounding the situation. “Jay in hibernation he ain’t coming outside till this shit with puff blow over, no brunch, no lunch, No dinner. LOL IM ALL YOU GOT IM OUTSIDE !” he said earlier this year, referencing his Roc Nation Brunch that was cancelled.

On another occasion, 50 posted an image of a milk carton with Hov’s face edited onto its missing children’s ad placement. “Anybody seen J? LOL. puff said the [ninja emoji] ain’t answering his phone. LOL,” he wrote, suggesting Jay had cut off Combs when he needed him.

Combs is currently detained in Brooklyn on sex trafficking and racketeering charges, while facing dozens of sexual assault lawsuits. After being denied bail three times, his trial is set to begin on May 5th, 2025.
