50 Cent reacts to Jay Z’s inclusion in Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs rape lawsuit
Jay-Z has been named involved in a historic underage rape case alongside Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, which he has denied and labelled as “heinous”.
The lawsuit was filed by an unnamed female, identified only as Jane Doe. However, the accuser claims that Jay-Z assaulted her after she was driven to an MTV Video Music Awards after-party hosted by Diddy in 2000. One of the more shocking details is that the accuser was only 13 years old at the time.
Combs was the only defendant named when the lawsuit was initially filed in October at the Southern District of New York courts. However, it was refiled on December 8th to include Carter.
In the filing, it is alleged the complainant was then allegedly offered a drink after being invited to an afterparty held by Combs that made her become “woozy, lightheaded and felt [like] she needed to lie down,” and she went into a room to rest. Allegedly, shortly after, Combs and Carter entered the room, with the former saying, “You are ready to party!”
She alleges that Carter then removed her clothes, held her down and raped her while Combs and an unnamed female celebrity watched. She says Combs also raped her, as Carter and the woman observed. The suit claims she resisted being forced to perform oral sex on Combs by hitting him in the neck, which made him stop.
After the alleged assault, the suit claims that she “grabbed her clothes” and left. She went to a petrol station and called her father. The plaintiff is seeking unspecified damages.
The lawsuit was filed by Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee, who has been filing paperwork against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs nonstop since the first allegations began to emerge last year. Shawn Carter has responded to this recent namedrop in a lengthy statement.
Addressing the allegations, Jay denied all of the accusations, eriting, “These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!! Whomever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree? These alleged victims would deserve real justice if that were the case.”
Jay then lashed out at Buzbee, calling the allegations “idiotic.” He also accused the attorney of unprofessional behaviour. Jay-Z is not the only person unhappy with Buzbee’s conduct concerning playing the legal system.
In a separate statement, Combs’ team addressed Buzbee, calling his suits “shameless publicity stunts, designed to extract payments from celebrities who fear having lies spread about them, just as lies have been spread about Mr. Combs.”
50 Cent recently responded to Jay-Z’s appearance in a lawsuit on Instagram, writing, “Ok, I don’t know what’s going on, but are we gonna still have the Super Bowl? 😟 I’m just asking for a friend!” The Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ lyricist has taken a significant amount of pleasure in drawing attention to Jay-Z’s silence over recent months and has frequently asked about Jay-Z’s whereabouts during Diddy’s legal drama in interviews.
