Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs set to face 120 new allegations of sexual assault
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is set to face a further 120 allegations of sexual assault. While these lawsuits are yet to be filed, attorney Tony Buzbee confirms they will be filed with the relevant states within the next 30 days.
Buzbee, a Texas-based attorney, held a news conference on October 1st and confirmed that he was representing 120 clients, each of which have separate accusations of sexual assault against Combs. Buzbee confirmed he would be filing lawsuits that date back to 20 years on behalf of these clients.
“We will expose the enablers who enabled this conduct behind closed doors. We will pursue this matter no matter who the evidence implicates,” said Buzbee, “Many powerful people […] many dirty secrets.”
Buzbee confirmed that his team had collected pictures, videos and texts that prove Combs’s guilt. The legal representative also said the allegations brought against Combs will include violent sexual assault or rape, dissemination of video recordings, facilitated sex with a controlled substance and sexual abuse of minors.
The Texan lawyer has also stated that other defendants will be included in these allegations. “It’s a long list already, but because of the nature of this case, we are going to make sure, damn sure, we are right before we do that,” he said, “These names will shock you.”
Buzbee stated he intends to file lawsuits against Combs in the necessary states within the next 30 days. He also claims that the cases against other defendants will come at a later date once the correct amount of evidence has been collated. He said he is dealing with 3000 individuals who have come forward to his office with allegations against the musician.
Erica Wolff, who is currently representing Combs, released a statement confirming that he will not be addressing these allegations.
“As Mr Combs legal team has emphasised, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus,” Wolff said, “That said, Mr Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.”
Wolff continued, “He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court if and when claims are filed and served, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”
After being denied bail twice, Combs is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn, New York. He continues to deny the charges against him.
