50 Cent asks why Jay-Z is so quiet about the Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs case

Many people have spoken about the allegations Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs currently faces in his ongoing criminal case, and there have been many opinions shared throughout the hip-hop community. However, some people who were close to or associated with the Bad Boy founder have remained silent since the downfall began. 50 Cent has decided to loudly call out some of the figures he believed should be speaking.

Fans following the case are turning their focus towards Jay-Z, and conspiracy theories are dominating the internet. Still, Jay-Z hasn’t said anything, nor has he been seen. The Brooklyn icon is currently the centre of attention for two reasons. Not only because there is unfounded rumours about his potential involvement in the Combs’ case spreading on social media but also because his superstar wife, Beyonce, recently endorsed Kamala Harris.

However, even with the spotlight on him and the stage set for him to make a statement, intrigued onlookers are getting radio silence. This phenomenon is something 50 Cent recently drew attention to.

During a recent interview with Hot 97, while speaking about the radio station’s annual Summer Jam event, 50 Cent asked the hosts, “When’s Jay coming to Summer Jam? When’s Jay-Z coming to Summer Jam? No brunch, no lunch, no dinner… It’s hot out here, man, it’s hot out here. You know what I’m saying? Nowhere.”

Fifty has alluded to Jay-Z being involved with Combs for a long time and continues to until this day. During an appearance on The Breakfast Club on October 29th, the Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ artist suggested that Jay-Z was a ghostwriter for Combs during the height of Bad Boy.

Furthermore, earlier this year, he jabbed at both MCs with a New Jack City deepfake. Taking to Instagram on April 28th, Fifty posted a humorously edited scene from the 1991 thriller New Jack City with the caption, “This thing is bigger than Nino Brown. LOL New Jack Diddy.”

The original scene shows actor Wesley Snipes, who plays gang leader Nino Brown, pleading guilty to a charge and getting sentenced to a year in jail. Ice-T plays the policeman present in the courtroom (Detective Appleton). However, Fifty changed the detective to represent Jay-Z, suggesting that the Roc Nation founder and businessman may have known about Combs’ misconduct behind closed doors.

Although on Hot 97, the ‘Candy Shop’ Rhymer only asked a question, many people have the same query. The only movement fans have seen from him is when he and his wife reached out to news channels behind closed doors to shut down Jaguar Wright’s accusations about them. Many of which referenced Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
