50 Cent mocks “dumbass” Floyd Mayweather over $340 million lawsuit
50 Cent has revived his beef with Floyd Mayweather by mocking him for filing a $340 million lawsuit against Showtime.
Mayweather reportedly sued the television network this week, seeking to “recover hundreds of millions of dollars in the misappropriated funds and damages resulting from a long-running and elaborate scheme of financial fraud.”
According to TMZ, the former boxer claims Showtime played a role in his former manager screwing him out of millions of dollars.
50 came across the news and took to Instagram to disrespect his intellectual ability, calling him a “dumbass” over his alleged inability to read.
“Oh no don’t cry now champ they beat you out of $320 million, you dumb ass,” he wrote. “I told you let me read the contracts now lace up, You gotta look good fighting Mike. then maybe we can get Bud to beat your ass for some big money.”
50 and Mayweather have been feuding for years. In 2014, 50 did his own version of the “ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.”
Instead of pouring water over himself, 50 said, “Fuck the bucket of ice, man.” He claimed he would donate six figures to charity if Mayweather read a page out of a Harry Potter book, suggesting he can’t read.
“This is a special challenge for you, Floyd,” 50 said to the camera. “If you can read one full page of a Harry Potter book, n*gga, I’ll give $750,000 to whatever charitable organisation you want.”
Their beef reportedly stems from a fallout in 2012. 50 claimed he invested $2 million in The Money Team Promotions while Mayweather was in jail, only for the boxer to allegedly refuse to honour their agreement.
