Young Thug’s children threaten Gunna in new diss track
Tension is growing between former friends Young Thug and Gunna, with the beef looking like it’s unlikely to ever be resolved. It comes after Gunna had been accused of snitching on Young Thug in order to avoid jail time, although he has denied these claims.
Still, Gunna has not found himself out of favour recently and even Kendrick Lamar called him out on ‘Euphoria’. As if things couldn’t get any worse for Gunna, the children of Young Thug have seemingly threatened to take him out on a new diss track.
The sons of Young Thug recently posted a clip of the untitled diss track on Instagram, where they can both be seen dancing around and flashing wads of cash to the camera. However, the words of the song seem to have captivated most people’s attention, particularly the more aggressive lyrics.
Several targets get mentioned in the tune, but it seems like Gunna gets the worst of all. They spit, “And Bentley a rat he keep leaving states. And Gunna get whacked if he don’t leave LA”. The words are a clear sign of intent from the two kids, but it’s not clear whether Young Thug gave them the green light to say them.
The comments section contains fans criticising Young Thug over his children’s use of language with many asking whether legal consequences could be coming his way soon. Young Thug’s parenting has been called into question in previous years, like in 2015, when he said he wanted to have full custody of his supposed 12 children.
“I got a mansion with 12 empty bedrooms waiting for them,” he wrote on Twitter at the time. “I refuse to come on Cleveland Ave. That’s called backtracking. Just wanna no [why] should a peasant with no job, or future, or apartment/house/condo have custody of a rich mans child.”
Then, years later, in 2022, the rapper once again expressed his belief that those in poverty should not be allowed to have children. “We need new rules. We need a new oath,” Young Thug said on Instagram. “If you dead broke, if you a broke-ass n**ga, you should not be able to nut.”
He added, “You’re bringing poor kids into this world, fuck n**ga. You’re making n**gas rob, and kill and steal because you’re running around with no type of career, no nothing.” Now, Thug’s own parenting is being called into question following the video of his sons seemingly threatening to take out Gunna.
