Yella Beezy charged with hiring hitman to kill MO3
Yella Beezy has been arrested for allegedly hiring a hitman to kill another rapper in 2020. A Dallas County, Texas, grand jury indicted 33-year-old Beezy (real name Markies Conway) on March 18th for ordering the murder of Melvin Noble, better known as MO3.
Beezy was arrested on March 20th and charged with capital murder while remuneration. He’s accused of hiring Kewon Dontrell White to kill MO3 on November 11th, 2020, in an ambush shooting on I-35 in Dallas in broad daylight.
The indictment claims Beezy “intentionally and knowingly” took part in his death for payment and the “promise of remuneration.”
According to Fox 4, investigators say White was wearing a ski mask and holding a gun when he approached MO3’s car on the interstate. MO3 exited his vehicle and ran away as White fired multiple shots in his back, which ultimately killed him.
White, arrested the following month and charged with murder, is currently serving a nine-year prison sentence for firearm charges. Beezy is presently being held in the Dallas County Jail without bond.
Beezy has over 1.9million Instagram followers and 650,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. He released his last mixtape, Bad Azz Yella Boy, in 2020.
