Yeat recruits NBA YoungBoy, Elton John and more for new album

Rapper Yeat has revealed a stacked feature list for his upcoming album, ADL.

ADL, an abbreviation for A Dangerous Life, is scheduled for release on March 27th via Capitol Records, serving as his sixth studio LP.

Ahead of its release later this week, Yeat took out a full-page ad in The New York Times to share details about his new project.

Among the guests on the album are NBA YoungBoy, Elton John, Kid Cudi, Swizz Beatz, Don Toliver, Grimes, 070 Shake, Julia Wolf, Dylan Brady (of 100 Gecs), Joji, Bynx, Rampa, Synthetic, Lucid, Sapjer, and others.

Sharing a photo of the newspaper on his Instagram Stories, the rapper wrote, “NYTIMES HOW WE DROP FEATS.”

During a recent interview with Complex, Yeat gave a description of his forthcoming project.

“It’s new,” he said. “I’m always pushing boundaries and always setting the wave on how I want shit to sound. I’m never scared to go out of any comfort zone and try different sounds. You can’t even describe it sound-wise. It’s just good music.”

He added, “This next album is really something. The sound is changing. It’s going to be a crazy, crazy album.”

Speaking on the title of the album, he said, “That was after I made Lyfestyle, and that’s just what was on my mind. In my head, I’m just like, what am I on now? My life’s dangerous right now. OK, I’ll make this album about it.”

Yeat released his last album, Lyfestyle, in October 2024, with features from Don Toliver, Kodak Black, Lil Durk, and Summrs. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, earning 89,000 units in its first week.
