Wu join the iconic hall of fame alongside Oasis, Phil Collins, Joy Division/New Order, Sade, Iron Maiden, Billy Idol, and Luther Vandross.
RZA took to Instagram to celebrate the induction, writing, “In all Humility. This announcement filled me with joy, proudness, profound achievement, and awe. I’m grateful to all my brothers and those who helped us on the path. Thank you Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This is a true Triumph – Wutang Forever.”
Method Man wrote on X, “We made it. THANK YOU!!!!” with GZA adding, “2026 Rock and Roll Hall of fame inductees. We couldn’t have reached this milestone without our hip hop predecessors, fans, collaborators, friends and family. We thank you.”

The 2026 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony will take place on November 14th at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

Wu-Tang’s induction is fitting considering the group are currently performing across the world on their farewell tour, Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber.
They’re preparing to begin the second leg of the tour in August alongside Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, featuring all living members of the group: RZA, GZA, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa, and Cappadonna.
