Watch the explosive new Kanye West video for 'Come to Life'

Kanye West has unveiled the explosive new video for his single, ‘Come To Life’.

The track is one of the 27 songs which appears on West’s new album, Donda, which he finally shared last Sunday. The record was premiered at the Soldier Field stadium in Chicago a week ago today, which is where the video for ‘Come To Life’ is taken from, and even features Kanye’s soon-to-be ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

The listening event in Ye’s hometown was the third and final one of its kind, following two previous showings in Atlanta, while Donda was still firmly a work in progress. The clip for the single sees West get set on fire before the flames get extinguished, and he’s back in Kardashian’s arms while she wears a Balenciaga wedding dress.

Elsewhere during the live event in Chicago, Kanye recreated his childhood home inside the arena. Controversially, he also brought out Marilyn Manson during proceedings, who has been accused of sexual abuse, and assault by a string of women after his ex-partner Evan Rachel Wood came forward in February.

Yeezy also handed the spotlight to DaBaby, who recently landed in hot water after disgracing himself on stage at Rolling Loud festival when he made abhorrent homophobic comments during his set.

In a review of DondaHip Hop Hero’s noted: “For the amount of hype, controversy, and intrigue that followed Donda, its release parties, and its multiple delayed release dates, the last thing you can say is that Kanye doesn’t deliver.

Donda is everything you could possibly have imagined and more. It’s frustrating, repetitive, and unwieldy, but also fascinating, insightful, and highly enjoyable. There are occasional good-time jams, but the album mostly sounds like Kanye helming a ship that could crash at any moment.”
