Watch Little Simz perform at BRITs 2022

Last night, Little Simz enjoyed a triumphant night at the BRITs, which she rounded off with a sensational performance of ‘Introvert’ and ‘Woman’.

Simz mashed the two tracks together from her hit 2021 album, Sometimes I Might Be Introvert, and she was nominated for four awards in total. While she was unsuccessful in the Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, and the Best Hip Hop/Grime/Rap Artist category, Simbi was crowned as Best New Artist.

The rapper’s performance included a cameo from The Crown’s Emma Corrin, who reprised her role on the album at the award ceremony, and it made for an electric showing.

Her speech was equally special, and she told viewers, “Thank you to everyone who supported me on this journey so far. Anyone that is watching this at home, I am living proof that if you work hard at something no matter where you come from, no matter your background, no matter your race. You can do something extraordinary.”

She added: “So this is for all the kids dreaming. Keep dreaming, keep pushing. I am you, you are me. Blessings”.

Elsewhere during the ceremony, there was a mindbending performance of ‘In The Fire’ from Dave, who also won the Best Hip Hop/Grime/Rap Artist, and he brought out Fredo, Ghetts, Giggs, and Meekz to celebrate.
