Watch Kendrick Lamar join Baby Keem at Coachella 2022

Kendrick Lamar returned to the live stage at the weekend with his cousin, Baby Keem, at Coachella 2022.

Last year, Keem released his debut album, The Melodic Blue, which features the two collaborations with Lamar. When Kenny made his way to the Sahara stage, he was met by a cry of ‘Oh Shit’ from Keem before Lamar burst into his verse on ‘Family Ties’ in front of an enormous animated screen.

They then segued into ‘Vent’, which closed the set in style. It was Keem’s second consecutive weekend at the festival, which was headlined by Harry Styles, Billie Eilish and The Weeknd.

Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar recently announced his new album, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, which will drop on May 13th. It marks Lamar’s first album since DAMN in 2017.

The announcement came from Lamar’s website oklama.com, where the statement of a new record had been signed by “oklama”. The press release for the new LP comes “from the desk of oklama”, with the only information being the album’s name and the release date.

Additionally, the document also states that “all factual information for this release will come directly from this source only.”

Although there is yet to be a tracklist or a teaser single, it’s now only less than three weeks away.
