Watch Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and Mary J. Blige perform at the Super Bowl

Last night, Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and Mary J. Blige teamed up to put on an unforgettable halftime show at the Super Bowl.

The 15-minute masterclass began with Dre introducing Snoop before they burst into ‘The Next Episode’ and ‘California Love’. A surprise appearance from 50 Cent followed as he rolled back the years with a thrilling performance of ‘In Da Club’.

The crowd at the So-Fi Stadium in Inglewood were then greeted to a delightful showing from Mary J. Blige before Kendrick Lamar wowed the audience with ‘M.a.a.D. City’ and ‘Alright’.

For the penultimate track, Eminem joined Dre, as well as Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals to deliver a powerful rendition of ‘Lose Yourself’.
Controversially, Shady also took the knee in a poignant nod to Colin Kaepernick despite rumours that the NFL had banned artists making the gesture.

Dre and Snoop then reunited to close the show with ‘Still D.R.E’, with the former N.W.A. man still rapping the line “still not loving police” even though he was allegedly asked to cut the lyric from the song.

The halftime show will go down in history as one of the ultimate moments in SuperBowl history and a mightily impressive celebration of hip-hop through the ages.
