Wack 100 makes appearance in Tupac Shakur murder trial

Record label executive Wack 100 is a well-known name in hip-hop. As a former member of the Piru Blood Set of Compton, the executive, real name Cash Jones, takes no prisoners and won’t hesitate to unleash some of his personal hot takes.

On June 25th, Wack 100 attempted to pay bail for Duane’ Keefe D’ Davis, the main suspect in the murder of Tupac Shakur. He appeared in front of California judge Carli Kierny. However, his attempt was denied.

Wack 100 posted $112,500 of Davis’ $750,000 bail with the help of a bondsman for the rest. The prosecutors of the case accused the music executive of only trying to get Davis free to get an exclusive interview for a potential TV series.

During the hearing, Judge Carli Kierny told Wack, “I don’t really see where the actual $112,500 came from with what’s been provided. I also don’t find the defence has met the burden…to show that the bail is not connected to Mr Davis ultimately talking about Mr Shakur’s murder and any evidence to contrary is not credible.”

The Louisiana businessman attempted to convince the judge that he would only conduct an interview with Keefe D after the court hearing, stating, “It would have to be [after the trial]. It couldn’t go the other way, it couldn’t go the other way because if he’s guilty.

He added, “He’s gonna be looked upon a certain way. If he’s innocent as I think he is and I know him to be understanding the case, then he’ll be looked at a total different way.”

Keefe D was indicted and then arrested on charges of murdering the late rapper 2Pac by the Las Vegas Police Department in September last year. However, Davis decided to plead not guilty of the crime.

Keefe D is the uncle of Orlando Anderson, who has been the suspected killer for many years. Anderson had an altercation with the All Eyez On Me rapper and his crew inside the MGM Grand in Las Vegas hours before the emcee was murdered.
