Tyler, The Creator says A$AP Rocky ignored request to feature on his new album

Tyler, The Creator has revealed that A$AP Rocky ghosted his request to appear on his new album.

The Odd Future rapper’s sixth studio album, Call Me If You Get Lost, arrived last month and sees DJ Drama take up a hosting role on the record. On top of that, Tyler recruited a host of rappers for guest spots, including Pharrell, Ty Dolla $igns, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, but there was supposed to be one more illustrious name featured.

Throughout Tyler’s career, he has linked up with A$AP Rocky, with the two last joining forces back in 2018 for ‘Potato Salad’. In the visuals for the track, the pair even teased a collaborative project called WANG$AP, but it never came to fruition.

Tyler has been taking his chart-topping new album across the States on a run of pop-up shows in intimate venues, and during one concert, he explained how he made ‘Corso’ with A$AP Rocky in mind.

“I made that beat for me and Rocky shit, but that n***a ignored me for five months,” Tyler told the crowd. “So the middle part where DJ Drama is yelling and I’m not rapping, that was for Rocky, but the n***a…,” the rapper adds before throwing his arms into the air in frustration.
