Tyler, The Creator calls out “weird as fuck” store owner for posting hidden camera footage
Tyler, The Creator has targeted a store owner who posted security footage of him online without his permission. In the video, the Odd Future rapper walks around a store with Lil Yachty, the support act on his Chromakopia world tour.
Taking to his Instagram Stories on February 26th, Tyler called the store owner “weird as fuck” for sharing footage of him in his spare time. He questioned why they chose to post the footage online and claimed their actions could result from never being taught a lesson physically.
“Went to a shop with the bro and these n*ggas posted some random hidden camera footage for some weird ass reason,” he wrote on his Instagram Stories.
“Likes, clout, proof we were there? Idk but I do know n*ggas is weird as fuck and never got slapped before cause someone that knows bounds wouldn’t do this and all my n*ggas say is sorry like no, nothing in your mind said that wasn’t weird? N*ggas ain’t even know they were being recorded and then you upload it?”
He added, “I hate you n*ggas man. I be iffy on goin in n*ggas stores cause of shit like this. PSA if you aren’t weird with folks and they feel comfortable they will come back. Did y’all n*ggas grow up with parents that told you stop or no?! And I will keep ‘complaining’ about this shit cause I’m not one of them passive n*ggas I will tell you when I don’t like it, be cool man.”
Tyler appears to be frustrated with the general public this week. On February 24th, he revealed he was tired of people asking him “weird ass” questions.
“When you see me dont be asking questions like ‘whY are you here in a major city….. are you renting a house here…where you going,’” he wrote on X. “Like n*gga I AM NOT YOUR FRIEND, are you a cop? Weird ass questions… say hi blah blah and keep it moving so i can finish my walk.”
He also rapped about wanting privacy on ‘Noid‘ from last year’s Chromakopia album. Tyler spits on the track, “No cameras out, please, I wanna eat in peace/ Don’t wanna take pictures with you n*ggas or bitches/ Nervous system is shook way before 19.”
