Travis Scott, the Weeknd, and Bad Bunny release new single

Travis Scott has released a new single alongside Canadian singer The Weeknd and Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny. Entitled ‘K-POP,’ this is not the first time Scott (real name Jacques Webster) has joined forces with The Weeknd.

In 2015, the dynamic duo released first teamed up on the track ‘Pray 4 Love’, which appeared on Scott’s debut album Rodeo. In 2018 they joined forces to create ‘WAKE UP’ for Astroworld, and in 2019 the pair appeared on the SZA single, ‘Power Is Power.’

Scott has been a longtime fan of Bad Bunny and remixed his song ‘Krippy Kush’ back in 2017. Luckily for the Houston emcee, they have now all teamed up for what fans are expecting to be a feature on the tracklist of Travis’ highly anticipated forthcoming album, Utopia.

‘K-POP’ is Scott’s first solo release since his singles for Astroworld. He has recently been appearing as a featured artist on numerous tracks, including, ‘Down in Atlanta’ by Pharrell Williams and ‘Ring Ring’ by Chase B.

‘K-POP’ will be a new addition to Scott’s live performance set-list, which, until now, has been comprised of his Astrworld hits such as ‘SICKO MODE’ and ‘WAKE UP.’ This is the first glimpse of what’s to come on Utopia.

The upcoming project is set to be “rolled out in a full 3-D immersive experience”, according to the album’s press release. On July 28th, despite rumours it was cancelled, Scott will be on stage in front of the Pyramids of Egypt in Giza celebrating the project’s arrival.

The album has been teased a number of times, including a listening session for the Houston Astros baseball team. As well as an exciting image of Scott with the fully mastered album in London. You can hear ‘K-POP’ in the video below.
