Travis Scott reportedly kicked out of New York nightclub over bottle-throwing incident
Travis Scott was reportedly involved in a bottle-throwing incident in New York City over the weekend.
The Houston rapper attended Zero Bond in Manhattan on July 18th when things took a turn for the worse.
According to TMZ, a source said that a man was filming Scott chatting to someone in the nightclub, causing the rapper to confront him. From there, members of his team allegedly started throwing bottles inside the venue.
New York Knicks star Jordan Clarkson, who recently won the NBA championship, reportedly stepped in to help with the situation. However, both he and Scott were allegedly kicked out.
The event, hosted by Raising Cane’s, was attended by the likes of Tate McRae, Alix Earle, Jake Paul, and Logan Paul, with 50 Cent also hitting the stage for a performance.
The incident comes just days after Scott’s new movie, The Odyssey, was released in cinemas. The rapper plays the role of the bard in Christopher Nolan’s latest film, starring Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Zendaya, and many other big names.
Last week, Scott was sued for assault, battery, false imprisonment and intentional infliction of emotional distress, with the plaintiffs seeking unspecified financial damages.
The allegations stem from an incident that saw him arrested for disorderly intoxication and trespassing at Miami Beach Marina in June 2024.
The captain of the yacht Scott rented out claimed that he became intoxicated and aggressive. After allegedly refusing to leave the boat, he’s accused of punching him in the neck and upper chest.
Scott released his last album, Utopia, in July 2023, debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 chart with 496,000 units in its first week.
