Timbaland‘s role as one of the greatest producers of all time has seen him become a household name within hip-hop. But perhaps one of his most beloved songs is his collaboration with pop heavyweights Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado.
In a brand new clip released via Timbaland’s social media, there is a reunion in the offing as the producer shared a date and a video of some of a new song’s chorus.
Titled ‘Keep It Going’ the new song will see the producer once again team up with the two singers, this time for a huge collaboration with both pop stars, following ‘Promiscuous’ with Furtado and ‘Cry Me A River’ with Timberlake.
The trio had previously worked together on the 2007 hit ‘Give It To Me’, which became a mammoth track of the year. There will be hope that this song can launch the promotional trail for Timberlake, whose album was confirmed as “finished” by Timbaland earlier this year.
‘Keep It Going’ already has a lot of hype attached. As well as the clip shared by the producer, Timberlake has also shared his thoughts, saying Furtado’s vocals are a mix of ‘Promiscuous’ and ‘Say It Right’.
In the post, Timbaland captions the video: “The moment has come”. He also shared the date of release as September 1st, 2023.
