Tierra Whack has reportedly been arrested after being caught with a loaded gun at Philadephia airport.
The news was broken by Philadelphia’s ABC station, WPTI, Whack. They revealed the rapper is licensed to carry firearms in the state of Pennsylvania but claimed she was arrested on November 8th after attempting to pass through a security checkpoint while her gun was loaded with live ammunition.
Furthermore, Complex claim to have seen court documents which show Whack has a preliminary hearing scheduled in regarding the matter scheduled for December 8th.
Interestingly, at the time of writing, Whack is yet to publicly address her arrest despite being active on social media after the arrest. On November 9th, she took to her Twitter account to say “to create my future I had to revisit my past and revisit my pain!”
Last year, Whack took to Instagram to hint at her retirement, which didn’t turn out to be the case, and she didn’t follow on her promise. She posted on her Instagram stories: “I quit. I’m done doing music.”
However, in December 2021, she finally served a follow-up to her 2018 debut, Whack World. Although it wasn’t a traditional album, Whack released three EPs which separately showcased a different element of her sound.
