The moment 'groupies' shot at Lil Wayne on his tour bus

Lil Wayne is a legend in hip hop and is known as the first rapper from the south to achieve mogul status. Born and raised in the deprived Hollygrove area of New Orleans, Weezy (real name Dwayne Carter) was discovered by Birdman when he was just a teenager and shaking up the underground, he became Cash Money’s face and, before long, its new star.

In the early noughties, Wayne had one of the most successful mixtape runs in rap history, and by the end of the noughties, the rapper had his own imprint of Cash Money, Young Money

The label launched the careers of Nicki Minaj, Tyga and Drake, to name a few. With Maybach Music Group being their only competition in the early 2010s, colloquially known as YMCM, Young Money was untouchable and was responsible for hits such as Tyga’s ‘Rack City’, Drake’s ‘Best I Ever Had’ and more.

Since his emergence in the culture, the rhymer has released 13 studio albums, three collaborative albums, three compilation albums, five EPs, and a mind-blowing 29 mixtapes,

With a massive catalogue of material and a global fanbase, Carter has played in cities worldwide, from Paris to Sydney. However, in 2013, during an interview with 247HH, the lyricist told his wild tour story of when groupies shot at his tour bus.

Speaking to the online media outlet, Wayne explained, “I was in Jacksonville, Florida, and some girls came up to the bus after the show. I won’t curse, but they asked, ‘Can we suck Lil Wayne’s d*ck? Can we f*ck Lil Wayne?!”

He continued, “My man told the ‘No!’ They kept asking, but my man said ‘No!’ So then my man got a little disrespectful and was like ‘He don’t want none of you ugly stupid bitches!’ You know what I mean?”

He concluded, So now we riding on the highway, and the bus driver says, ‘Those girls that was talking are on the side of the bus!’ Within two seconds, these girls started shooting at the bus!”
