The Game claims he’s the best rapper from Compton

The Game has boldly claimed that he’s the best rapper to ever come out of Compton.

The 46-year-old dropped his new mixtape, Gangsta Grillz: Every Movie Needs a Trailer, last week, and is preparing to release The Documentary 3 soon.

During his recent appearance on Club Shay Shay, Game made it clear that he thinks he’s the best rapper from his hometown.

“I’m definitely the best rapper from Compton,” he said. “That’s it. Can’t nobody out-rap me, man. Anybody that knows will know. No one can do what I do. No one has my skill set.”

He continued, “Not only do I have the ability to rap circles around people, I’m also with all the bullshit too, if I came down to that. I’m the best rapper in this town.”

Compton has been blessed with elite rappers throughout history, including Kendrick Lamar, Ice Cube, Dr Dre, Eazy-E, and MC Eiht. However, Game believes he’s more talented than all of them.

“I love Cube, but Cube can’t out-rap me,” he said. “And by the way, the reason that Cube can’t out-rap me is because I use Cube’s legacy to help me sharpen. I use Snoop’s legacy to help me sharpen myself. I use Dr Dre, NWA. So it’s like, these guys came before me.”

Hip-hop fans took to the comments of Shannon Sharpe’s Instagram post to share their thoughts on Game’s claim.

One person wrote, “Even if he thought it was true. Humble yourself. It’s definitely not true though,” while another said, “Far as Compton he forgot Dot from there and Eiht….far as west…he must’ve never listen to Doggystyle.”

A protégé of Dre, Game released his debut album The Documentary on his Aftermath label in 2005. Dre executive-produced the project alongside 50 Cent and contributed to many of the songs.
