The fan that helped Boosie Badazz and got $10,000

Louisiana rapper Boosie Badazz, who suffers from diabetes, was luckily saved by a fan in Florida recently after he started to feel dizzy and ill in a severe state of hypoglycemia. Desperately needing insulin, he took to social media, begging his fans to help him if they were in the Duval area of Florida.

Taking to Instagram, the ‘Wipe Me Down’ rapper wrote, “Anybody in DUVAL AREA WITH THIS LANTIS MEDICINE DM ME YOUR NUMBER SO WE CAN MEET‼️” he wrote. “I REALLY NEED THIS!!” Luckily for Boosie (real name Torrence Hatch), there was a fan who had the medication the rapper was after and agreed to bring him the medicine proceeding to drive three hours to his home to drop it off.

According to Hatch, he offered to pay the fan as a gesture of thanks, but she couldn’t accept the money. However, in a strange turn of events, the lady did end up with some cash. However, it wasn’t the rapper.

The day after the incident, the rapper took to Instagram to tell fans about the bizarre events.  In the video, the rapper passionately detailed what occurred, saying, “I gotta tell this story bruh, about how good God is. I ran out of insulin yesterday, and this lady drove three hours to bring me insulin. When she got here, I tried to pay her, but she said, ‘I don’t want your money.’ She just took a picture and left. This lady went around the corner and won $10,000 on a scratch-off!!”

In a bid to show his fans the legitimacy of his story, he proceeded to show his followers the photo of the winning scratch-off ticket that the woman had texted to him. The artist continued to thank and praise the lady proclaiming, “Man, God good, bruh. I appreciate you, lady and God appreciated you. That’s why he blessed you like that.”

Boosie has been a long-time Diabetic and, in a 2008 interview with XXL, admitted, “The first couple of years, I struggled with it…I was in and out of the hospital. I just ain’t wanna face the fact that I really had this shit.”

Was it a coincidence, or was it destiny? No one knows, but you watch Boosie Badazz explain the situation in the video below.
