Tekashi 6ix9ine announces new limited NFT series

NFTs are continuing to cause a stir and now the most controversial rapper in the world, Tekashi 6ix9ine, has become the latest hip-hop star to get on board with them.

The Gooba rapper has entered the world of crypto, and his first release is two NFT collectable art pieces which will be released this Friday at 4pm ET. The pieces are 3D animations that cultivate snippets of the rapper’s two albums together.

Last year, the rapper released his sophomore record, TattleTales, which followed 2018’s Dummy Boy and a spell in prison. A press release states the two unique auction pieces will be accompanied by three separate NFTs, which will be available at a cheaper price for 125 Tekashi fans. On top of owning the limited NFTs, the rapper has also promised them a gift which will be revealed at a later date.

“The fame and the money doesn’t mean anything to me because it doesn’t bring me joy,” 6ix9ine said in a statement. “I say all this because when your chasing your dreams in life remember God comes first. Never lose sight of that. He blesses you in life because he sees the good in your heart and with that blessing you learn to bless others.

“I will continue my journey to find happiness within myself and find the joy I once had,” he added.
