T-Pain makes amends with Usher after feud

T-Pain and Usher have reunited after their public falling out earlier this year.

This news came to light in Netflix’s This Is Pop series, where T-Pain recalled a disagreement he had with Usher on a flight to the 2013 BET Awards. They had a conversation where Pain informed him that his use of Auto-Tune had “fucked up music for real singers”. The rapper then made the revelation that Usher later told him those comments sparked a four-year depressive cycle.

Usher then told Billboard, “It was very hurtful to know that he had experienced that kind of hardship in life. I wouldn’t wish that on any person.

“Private conversations for me have always been intended to uplift. But when or if people get pieces of it, they can always have some other interpretation.”

However, on Sunday, the two friends reconciled in public as T-Pain invited Usher on stage at an Atlanta event for Dave Chappelle’s upcoming documentary.

Pain told Usher, “I love you, bro,” before adding, “I’m telling you, we ain’t going through nothing, bro. We ain’t going through a goddamn thing. It’s all love. In times when we’re divided the most, we need to be together the most. I love you, bro. I’m never not gonna love you, bro, trust me. My dawg.”
