T.I. reveals tracklist and release date for ‘Kill the King’ album

T.I. has shared the tracklist and release date for his new album.

The Atlanta rapper has put the finishing touches on his upcoming project, Kill the King, which is set to be his final album.

Tip took to Instagram this week to reveal that his new LP will be released on June 26th via EMPIRE and his Grand Hustle label.

He also revealed the tracklist for the project, which includes 18 songs with features from Anderson Paak, The-Dream, T-Pain, Jeezy, 2 Chainz, Summer Walker, Usher, NBA YoungBoy, Young Dro, and others.

The album will include recent singles like ‘Trauma Bond’ and the Pharrell-produced ‘Mr Him’ and ‘Let ‘Em Know.’

Kill the King will serve as T.I.’s first project in six years following The L.I.B.R.A. in 2020, closing the curtain on his music career.

Speaking about the album title, he told TMZ, “I feel like the King of the South moniker is very egotistical, self-gratuitous, and it’s a persona that kind of enters the room before I do physically Big Boi cautioned me of [the title] back when I was coming onto the scene.”

He continued,”Big Boi said, ‘It sounds cool. I like it. But understand when you are the king, you put a big bullseye on your back.’ You can’t look for no favours. Life is a game of chess, and the name of the game is called Kill the King. That’s what you’re setting yourself up for.”
