Soulja Boy draws a line under Kanye West beef

Soulja Boy has drawn a line under his feud with Kanye West following their Donda beef.

The two artists fell out after Soulja’s verse was removed from Donda, and Ye never reached out to him beforehand to explain why his contribution was cut from the record. West then made the situation worse when he jokingly called his feature “trash” on the Drink Champs podcast.

Yeezy then personally apologised to the rapper and shared a screenshot of his text in a now-deleted Instagram post, which read, “Love you bro. I should have told you I wasn’t gonna use the verse.”

Now, Soulja has opened up about the situation and revealed he holds no hard feelings towards West. “Kanye, Kanye, Kanye,” he said in a new interview with Hip Hop DX. “Aw man. Shoutout to Kanye, man. Know what I’m saying? Kanye out there living life. I see he outside now.

“He moving around, he doing his thing, man. I got nothing but love for Kanye. You know what I’m saying? At least he kept it real. Kanye is the type of artist where he don’t give a fuck.”

The ‘Crank That’ rapper added, “He ain’t have to text me and say shit, you know what I’m saying? So even for the fact to him to hit me up and be like, ‘Oh bro, woo, woo, woo.’ I’m like, ‘Man, that just speaks … that speaks volumes.’ Kanye came a long way. I fuck with Kanye. For sure. We good.”
