Drake to discuss beef with DMX in next ‘Drink Champs’ episode

Drake has revealed that he will discuss his feud with DMX during the next episode of the Drink Champs podcast.

The podcast host, N.O.R.E., has been hinting at Drizzy’s appearance on his show for almost six months, but at last, he’s confirmed that the Canadian rapper will happen at the start of this week. “C’mon Drake,” the presenter said in an Instagram video. “Tomorrow — Monday, Drake is on Drink Champs.”

At the moment, there is still yet to be an official confirmation date of when the episode will air, but N.O.R.E. did previously say that one question he’ll definitely ask Drake about is his old beef with DMX.

“A lot of people don’t know, but I squashed the beef between DMX and Drake thru my boy 40 but we Will save that for drink champs,” the podcaster wrote, “Gotta big up Ovo 40!!! Armand and fancy.”

When he appeared on The Breakfast Club in 2012, DMX said, “I don’t like anything about Drake. I don’t like his fucking voice. I don’t like the shit he talks about. I don’t like his face. I don’t like the way he walks, like nothing. I don’t like his haircut.”

Later, in 2016, DMX had a change of heart and said that Drake went out of his way to ask if he could sample ‘What These Bitches Want’ on ‘U With Me?’ on Views.

“I did always say that he was a talented lyricist, but I was not a fan — you’re right,” DMX said. “[It was] another humbling experience. Like, ‘Yo, you didn’t like this dude for all the wrong reasons … For him to make the effort — first, to want to use a song of mine — and then to be man enough to reach out and make that call, homie, hat’s off, man. That was a real move.”

Hearing Drake’s side of the story is set to be an interesting event and finally, get to the core of the beef, which thankfully ended before DMX tragically passed away.
