“I Didn’t Even Feel Human Anymore”: Soulja accuser gives testimony
Infamous ‘Crank Dat’ rapper Soulja Boy has been accused of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse by a former personal assistant, and the civil case recently went to trial in Santa Monica, California, where the alleged victim described the emcee’s actions in horrific detail.
The woman bringing this case against Soulja Boy has even accused him of rape and described a 2019 incident during which he held her against her will while she was working. According to the plaintiff, Soulja Boy made a concerted effort to ensure she was always completely alone.
The female accuser alleges in her lawsuit that the Grammy-nominated rapper isolated her in his remote rental home in Malibu by confiscating her driver’s license and phone. Furthermore, the ‘Donk’ lyricist allegedly made sure to prevent her from eating and regularly berated, abused, and pointed guns at her.
The lawsuit was filed anonymously, so the female is only named as Jane Doe. However, the accuser vividly recalls an incident when she was raped during a police raid on the home in 2019. According to her testimony, Soulja Boy threw guns out a window into a canyon and was trying to get rid of drugs in a bathroom, after which he allegedly turned her around, pulled her pants down and “started having sex” with her.
She described herself as left in “shock and terrified”. On the fourth day of the trial, Jane Doe told the jury, “I feared for my life… I was scared of what he would do to my family. I didn’t want him to hurt anybody because of me.” In a surprising twist, she even alleged that Soulja Boy had threatened her mother with violence and once insisted that he knew where her mom lived and wouldn’t hesitate to “send shooters” to her house.
Jane Doe alleged that at one point while she was working, she became so desperate for the rhymer that she gathered loose change and gave it to neighbours in the garden so they could buy her some instant noodles. The accuser added, “I didn’t even feel human anymore. I felt like an animal,” she said.
Other accusations include claims that she lost 140 pounds while working and suffered psychological abuse, recalling, “He would call me an ugly, bumpy-faced bitch. He would tell me I was fat. He would make fun of me and have his friends make fun of me. He would spit on the floor and say, ‘Bitch, hurry up, come clean this shit up,’ while his friends watched. I wanted to die. I didn’t want to be there anymore. I just wanted to go home.”
