Snoop Dogg threatens to “fuck up” Daz Dillinger over theft claims

The beef between Snoop Dogg and Daz Dillinger has escalated to the point of Snoop threatening to “fuck up” Daz.

Daz claims that his cousin, Snoop, stole royalties, forged signatures, and attempted to claim ownership of his intellectual property.

In a video posted by Daz, Snoop said, “I see you ain’t got shit to do but hate on me, huh? In a minute, I’ma fuck you up, cuz, on some real shit. Not physically, but business-wise.”

He continued, “You broke as a motherfucker right now, so I’ma fuck you up in a minute, cuz. Leave me alone. Leave me the fuck alone.”

In the caption, Daz wrote, “HE MAD NOW… NOW HE WANNA FUC ME UP BIZNIZ WISE BY TRYNA STEAL EVERYTHING I OWN THAT WAS ON DEATHROW… BY FORGED SIGNITURE & NOT PAYING ROYALTIES… U A THIEF… U CANT STARVE ME OUT I’M INDEPENDENT… U LITTLE BBITCH.”

The war of words arrived after Daz accused Snoop of kicking him off Death Row Records, having released his debut solo album, Retaliation, Revenge and Get Back, on the label in 1998.

Speaking to The Punchline Academy, he said, “It’s my cousin,” he said. “You get into it all the time. He kicked me off. You know, I ain’t going back this time.”

Daz said he knew there was an issue when he didn’t get invited to a concert. “He’s just like, ‘You ain’t signing your catalogue over to me,’” he said. “And I’m like, ‘I’m keeping it. It’s worth a lot.’”

He claimed his publishing is worth more than the label’s ownership and is content as long as his house is paid for and he continues to receive music royalties.

Refusing to sign his publishing rights over to Snoop, Daz filed for copyright reversion, meaning he can reclaim ownership of his work 35 years after the transfer date.
