Snoop Dogg responds to Suge Knight’s claims about Tupac Shakur’s alleged killer
Suge Knight recently claimed that Snoop Dogg is secretly trying to bail out Tupac Shakur murder suspect Duane ‘Keefe D’ Davis. Just days later, Snoop has responded to the accusations.
The Death Row Records co-founder made his comments during an interview with The Art of Dialogue, which was posted earlier this week. Knight, also behind bars, stated that Snoop was attempting to free Davis from prison to stop him from sharing information.
“Since I’ve been in here, Snoop and other people been having people trying to bail the guy out, Keefe D, because he’s talking too much,” he said. “He’s even trying to do stuff for Puffy ’cause they say he’s talking too much.
“They even had somebody talk to me and say, ‘Hey! You can help him get free.’ I said, ‘Look, I don’t have nothing to do with none of that, and I’m not leaving prison to go to nobody county jail.’”
He added, “Since I find out more details about certain things, I probably would go to the [Las] Vegas county jail if me and Keefe D were [cell mates]. We’d have a good conversation after I give him, you know, six upside his head, another six in his body and another two.”
Snoop took to The Art of Dialogue‘s Instagram comments on February 25th to deny Knight’s claims. “This n*gga won’t stop talking about me,” he wrote. “Mad cuz I own Death Row. I realise your real lies.”
Knight has been incarcerated at RJ Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego since March 2023 and won’t be eligible for parole until October 2034. He was sentenced to 28 years in September 2018 for mowing down and killing a Compton businessman.
As for Davis, he was arrested in September 2023 and pled not guilty to first-degree murder charges for the alleged killing of Tupac. Earlier in February, the trial was pushed back to February 9th, 2026, after the defence team asked for more time to interview witnesses.
Knight was driving Tupac Shakur down the Las Vegas Strip when the ‘Hit Em Up’ rapper was shot four times on September 7th. He died in hospital six days later.
