Suge Knight claims Snoop Dogg wants to bail out Tupac Shakur murder suspect Keefe D
Snoop Dogg and 2pac were joined at the hip during the 1990s, and as the two most popular Death Row artists, they were celebrated globally. From Doggystyle to All Eyez On Me, both MCs have unparalleled discographies. Yet, during a recent episode of The Art Of Dialogue, the incarcerated former music mogul alleged that Snoop Dogg is looking to bail out Duane ‘Keefe D’ Davis.
Suge Knight has made a lot of allegations on podcasts before, but this latest one concerning Snoop Dogg is explosive. Although he has proved to be an unreliable source, the notion of Snoop paying bail to have his late friend’s suspected killer freed from jail is intriguing.
Speaking to the Art Of Dialogue, Knight insisted that since he has been Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility, he has heard a lot of rumours about who is willing to bail out Duane ‘Keefe D’ Davis. Keefe D was indicted and then arrested on charges of murder in September of 2023 and has stayed behind bars since he was first arrested.
Knight and Davis have mutual friends and similar acquaintances in Los Angeles, and word gets around quickly, according to the former music executive. Disclosing some of what he has heard, Knight told the podcast host, “Since I’ve been in here, Snoop and other people have been having people trying to bail the guy out, Keefe D because he talking too much.”
Knight continued, “They even had somebody talk to me and say, ‘Hey! You can help him get free.’ I said, ‘Look, I don’t have nothing to do with none of that, and I’m not leaving prison to go to nobody county jail.’”
Although Suge insisted he doesn’t want Keefe D to go to prison as he knows how tough it is, he suggested that if they ever met, he would hurt him, exclaiming, “Since I find out more details about certain things, I probably would go to the Vegas county jail if me and Keefe D were [cell mates].” He continued, “We’d have a good conversation after I give him, you know, six upside his head, another six in his body and another two.”
When asked to specify what “talking too much” meant, Knight responded by hinting at potentially damaging connections between Snoop and others, including the disgraced Sean ‘Diddy” Combs.
At the moment, Knight’s evidence is all anecdotal. Still, during a recent interview, Suge Knight also claimed Snoop Dogg once admitted to being involved in the death of Tupac Shakur, revealing, “Snoop was involved in killing Hip-Hop’s best all-time artist,” adding, “[He] was involved in killing the best female vocalist that ever did it, Whitney Houston.”
