Some time ago now, Snoop Dogg appeared on SiriusXM’s Let’s Go! with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray. When not talking about football, the rapper recounted some of his zaniest adventures, including when he got stoned in Amsterdam with country icon Willie Nelson.
On being asked to recall the most stoned he’s ever been, Snoop said: “With Willie fucking Nelson. We was in Amsterdam on 4/20, and he was doing a concert out there,” he told a stunned Tom Brady. “So, we went back to his hotel room, and we was playing dominoes.”
Snoop continued: So Willie had a vape, a joint, I had a blunt, and he had a pipe. Me and him were playing dominoes one-on-one. He whooping my a–, and I’m just getting higher and higher and higher. He just keep passing it to me, and I’m like, ‘This old motherfuckers outsmoking me.’”
The rapper went on to note that he didn’t want to stop smoking because he didn’t want to show any “signs of weakness” in front of the famed pothead. “So anyway, 15 minutes into the session, I say, ‘Willie, hey man, let’s get something to eat, man’, and so we go to Kentucky Fried Chicken.”
Snoop recounted the same story during an interview on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “After ‘enjoying life’, we developed a hunger, he said, “so naturally, we wanted to go to Kentucky Fried Chicken which is one of our favourite joints. So we pull up in the drive-through and we ordering the chicken, they give it to us and when they give it to us, they hand us the big bucket. We take the top off, and we both put out hands in at the same time, and we grab the same piece of chicken at the same damn time.”
