Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs wanted as witness in Tupac Shakur murder trial

Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs could be brought in as a witness in the upcoming Tupac Shakur murder trial.

The trial is set to begin on August 10th, with the possibility of being pushed back to 2027, with Duane ‘Keefe D’ Davis accused of orchestrating his murder.

According to the New York Post, a source close to Keefe claims that Combs could be an important voice in being let off his charges.

His lawyer is allegedly confident that Combs would support his defence that previous confessions were lies to achieve “fame and fortune.”

A family friend said, “Duane has made his feelings clear – if Diddy is a witness or makes a statement denying what he told cops then that helps him hugely. Another factor is that this case will be a jury trial, and there is a suspicion that celebrities are often seen preferentially. So if Diddy backed up this story, it would help immensely.”

Keefe has claimed that Combs offered him $1 million to kill Tupac. He previously confessed to his involvement, but his lawyer, Michael Pandullo, believes that Combs will call him a liar.

The 62-year-old is currently behind bars at the Clark County Detention Center in Nevada. Speaking on his current state, his lawyer said, “Duane was in good spirits when we met on Monday. He is looking forward to when the battery by prisoner case expires and possibly getting another look at bail.”

He added, “He is positive. He would like to get out and be with his grandkids. That is something he mentions all the time. This is an older man who values family.”

Combs is also locked up at FCI Dix in New Jersey, serving a 50-month sentence after being found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
