Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs posts and deletes cryptic message from prison
Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs has taken to social media with a mysterious post from behind bars. The Bad Boy rapper has been in jail since September after being arrested on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking by force, and transportation for purposes of prostitution.
Combs’ eight-week trial concluded with him being found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. However, he was acquitted of racketeering conspiracy and two counts of sex trafficking.
On July 25th, Combs took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the eyes emoji before deleting the post. It’s unclear whether the post relates to his criminal case.
He shared another X post on July 26th, promoting his son King Combs’ song ‘Diddy Free’. The track appears on his Never Stop EP with Kanye West.
Combs is currently awaiting sentencing, with Judge Arun Subramanian setting the date as October 3rd, 2025. He faces up to 20 years in prison on the transportation to engage in prostitution charges, avoiding a life sentence by his acquittal on the other charges.
The lead prosecutor in the case, Maurene Comey, was fired by the Department of Justice earlier this month. She lost her job under Article II of the Constitution, which concerns the president’s powers.
Combs recently signed up for the STOP Program, a course provided to inmates to help prevent sexual assault, domestic, and dating violence.
He’s also in therapy under Dr Harry K Wexler’s drug abuse program. According to reports, he’s using the programs to better himself, calling it his “path towards redemption.”
