‘Sean Combs: The Reckoning’ reaches 50 million views on Netflix
The recent Diddy documentary, Sean Combs: The Reckoning, has reached a major milestone following its release in December.
The four-part documentary, executive produced by 50 Cent, promised to “unpack the shocking allegations behind Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and his Bad Boy empire, spanning decades of his life and career.”
The series was described as “a staggering examination of the media mogul, music legend, and convicted offender.”
According to a Netflix engagement report, obtained by AllHipHop, Sean Combs: The Reckoning has reached a total of 50 million global views.
It was the seventh most-watched show between July 2025 and December 2025, behind Wednesday season two, Stranger Things season five, Untamed, Squid Game season three, Stranger Things season one, and Monster: The Ed Gein Story. The rest of the top 10 included Wednesday season one, Ms Rachel, and Stranger Things season two.
Sean Combs: The Reckoning debuted with 21.8 million views in its first week after just six days of tracking. It was beaten by the fifth season of Stranger Things, which had 23.6 million views in its second week.
Combs’ legal team stated they were “deeply concerned” about the docuseries using alleged unauthorised footage, claiming it included “private moments, pre-indictment material from an unfinished project, and conversations involving legal strategy.”
His mother, Janice Combs, alleged that the documentary included false allegations and presented her son in a way to “mislead viewers and further harm our reputation.”
Combs is currently behind bars at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey. He’s serving four years and two months in prison after being found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
