Rick Ross responds after going viral for flying commercial
Rick Ross has spoken out after going viral for flying commercial.
Earlier this week, a video surfaced of the Miami rapper waiting for a flight at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Now, Rozay has responded to those mocking him for flying on an airline available to the general public.
“For the ones who want to know where my jet at, obviously didn’t get the memo it’s being updated with StarLink,” he said. “You know what StarLink is? Yeah, that’s the half-a-million dollar Wi-Fi … Yeah, that’s where my jet at. And I chose to fly commercial to go to Colombia to go party with Trick Daddy and Ball Greezy.”
In classic Rozay style, he joked about being able to afford the entire concourse at the airport.
“Shit, if I send my jet to go pick my Mama up, and I fly motherfucking commercial … That’s what I do for mama,” he said. “Y’all n*ggas better stay focused … Since it’s a big deal for Rozay to fly commercial sometimes, I might need to buy me a wing at the Atlanta airport. I’ll buy the whole C-wing.”
After the video of Ross surfaced online, many fans of Drake, who has been beefing with Rozay in recent years, targeted him over some fitting lyrics.
On ‘Whisper My Name’ from his Iceman album, Drizzy raps, “If I’m lyin’, I’m flyin’ economy, give me a motherfuckin’ seat/ If I’m lyin’, I’m flyin’ economy, I bet I know who I see.”
Ross is scheduled to release his new album, Set in Stone, on July 17th, after pushing it back this week. On June 12th, he released the latest single titled ‘Mahogany Caskets’ featuring T.I.
