Quando Rondo shares new photos from prison
Savannah rapper Quando Rondo has shared new photos of himself behind bars.
In December 2024, Rondo (real name Tyquian Bowman) was sentenced to 33 months in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to possess and distribute marijuana.
Rondo took to Instagram on March 22nd to post some new images of his condition in jail.
In the caption, he wrote, “Rico came I ain’t budged I was bunkys with the plug,” he wrote. “I was just the only cuz doing burpees with the bloods !! #27”
The four pictures show Rondo in the prison grounds, wearing a green outfit and New Balance shoes. The final photo shows him shaking hands with another inmate.
Rondo is currently incarcerated at Federal Correction Institution Elkton in Lisbon, Ohio, and is set for release in 2027. He accepted a plea deal that resulted in a sentence of two years and nine months, along with a $40,000 fine and three years of probation.
During an interview with WJCL, he admitted, “I did the wrong thing, and I’m getting punished for it. So, I want y’all to know that you actually get punished for doing wrong things. Just do the right thing.”
Rondo remained positive, stating that he intended to use the time in prison to better himself.
“As crazy as it sounds, that’s enough time to really sit down and rehabilitate myself, come up with some better plans, come out, and move forward for my family and friends,” he said. “You can do something way more better and positive … Doing the right thing and walking down the right path is cool.”
As for his plans in the future, he said, “Platinum records, diamond records, and more money, ya dig?”
